I hope you've all been enjoying this amazing fall weather we've had. We are blessed with beauty in East TN. As you know, our first meet of the season is this Sunday, October 30 at 1:00. Please be there at 12:45 to get ready for warm ups. We will be swimming against Hardin Valley this week, and we will have a Halloween themed meet! So dress up in your fun (but easy to take on and off) costumes, and come ready to swim fast! RSVPs are due by Friday at noon so please go ahead and do that when you read this email so you don't forget!! www.bhs.swimtopia.com And if you won't be here, we need to know that as well. Also, while you're there, sign up for a job!! Remember we are splitting the meets into 2 sessions this year so we'll need more volunteers, but for a shorter amount of time. 

Team Captains were announced last week at practice. Congratulations to Mary Sims Cross and Isaac Bubar! They will be our captains this year.

For Sunday's meet, wear your Bearden suit or a black racing suit and dress up if you'd like. This is just for fun and definitely not a necessity!

We will be having our first social event of the season after this meet. The place is TBA, but I wanted to let you know it's in the plan. We'll meet up at a nearby restaurant after the meet to hang out and feed those hungry swimmer bellies!
