Aquadog family!!!

The long awaited news is here!! 🎉 I can finally share with you what the board has been working on for weeks. Practice will begin next Monday, September 16. We will be practicing at Green Meadow Country Club pool. The address is 1700 Louisville Rd. Alcoa, TN 37701.

Before the practice schedule I need to say PLEASE HAVE YOUR SPORT'S PHYSICALS FILLED OUT AND READY BY THE FIRST PRACTICE. You can bring them to practice or take them to Mrs. Davis in room 404. Also, we will have the parent meeting at the first practice, Sept. 16 at 7:15.

Practice Schedule:
Mondays: 7:15-8:45
Wednesdays: 7:15-8:45
Sundays: 5:00-6:00

Monday and Wednesday drylands from 7:15-7:45. In the water at 7:45.

I know this isn't ideal--location or times--but nothing about the beginning of this season is ideal because of the construction delays at Allan Jones. This choice gets us the most time in the water for the first six weeks of practice. Once AJ is finished, we should be able to move practice to a UT pool and hopefully have a better choice of nights and times. I can promise you, this is better than we would have there. Our coaches want to make sure that our non club swimmers have the best chance possible to practice and get State cuts!! We need to be in the water and swimming for that! (And honestly, for most of us, Green Meadow is about the same distance as UT. But I will be sending out information on carpools and meet up spots soon.)

Remember your sport's physicals!! (The link is above) You can get them done at a walk-in clinic if you haven't had a chance to make an appointment!! But Bearden will not allow Mrs. Davis to let you in the water until we have them!!
